On behalf of a Brazilian youth culture mag, DDB's São Paulo office has produced some very offbeat "Drink responsibly" posters. "These artists are all dead, but they are very alive in heaven ? or hell? ? and they must be happy playing their music there," says writer Aricio Fortes. "The only way to go see them is to die stupidly and fast." Putting aside the contentious issue of why Bach, Mozart or Beethoven would be consigned to the underworld, why choose classical musicians in the first place? "We considered the possibility of using dead rock stars, but we think classical musicians are more catchy at first glance." Particularly Beethoven, whose sneer is right out of A Clockwork Orange.
