Controversial Sportsman Pokes Fun at Himself for Footwear Brand

Footwear brand Skechers makes another appearance in the Super Bowl, this time poking fun at baseball vet Pete Rose. Well, actually, Mr. Rose mocks himself as he relishes all his past athletic accomplishments and "walks the hall." This hall, however, is just that of his own home, not the Baseball Hall of Fame, from which Mr. Rose was banned because he had gambled on the sport.

For its past ads, the brand has tapped sports celebrities including Joe Montana and Mark Cuban, as well as tabloid star Kim Kardashian, now a spokesperson for another big game advertiser, T-Mobile.
