When Uruguay's Suarez (allegedly) bit an Italian player during his team's World Cup game against Italy, a whole range of brands were respond on social media. Among the best tweets was from Snickers, which posted this picture of a half eaten candy bar alongside the caption "More Satisfying than an Italian" and the hashtag #luissuarez. The actual tweet reads: "Hey @luis16suarez. Next time you're hungry just grab a Snickers."

Other food brands getting in on the act Nando's, McDonald's. Trident, which tweeted "Chew Trident. Not Soccer Players" and Bud Light, which posted this tweet supposedly showing Suarez biting off a bottle cap, with the caption "Relax. They're Twist Off."
