Using PlayStation Vue Is a No-Brainer in Slick Ad From Sony

Watching TV just got a whole lot more convenient with the help of Sony's PlaySation Vue, according to this slick and witty new ad promoting the brand's cloud-based TV service that launched in March 2015 and just expanded to L.A. and San Francisco.

The spot, by Johannes Leonardo and directed by MJZ's Fredrik Bond, is intended to remind PlayStation owners that they're already connected to a new and better way to watch TV. It does this by confronting us with various "no brainer" type scenarios. A confident protagonist walks thorugh a series of seemingly futuristic fantasy technologies, asking "You'd use it, wouldn't you?" These include whether you'd use an invisible force field to save you from "phone zombies" (we know we would). Finally, he asks whether, if you had "a TV experience -- better than you ever imagined -- just waiting inside your PlayStation, you'd use it, wouldn't you?" The ad ends with the line "Start Vue-ing."
