According to the online product descrip, in the first-person PS3 shooter called In Resistance: Fall of Man, "the U.S. and Britain band together in a last-ditch effort to save Europe and Asia from a horrific scourge." No, it's not the Nintendo Wii, it's the Chimera,  "a species of unknown origin propagating a virus that converts other life forms into more Chimera," which has "overrun Russia and all of Europe." The copy continues: "Humanity’s hope for survival is slim, and the tide of the battle rests on the shoulders of U.S. Army Ranger, Sgt. Nathan Hale." That would probably be the "I only regret I have but one power-up to lose for my country" guy. So what's with the vintage stock photos from Getty's Hulton Archive, diabolically doctored by London's Saddington & Baynes? In a nod to the game's storyline, "we took classic 1950s photos that convey the innocence of that era and altered them to show the horrifying effects of the virus," says TBWA/Chiat/Day CD Brett Craig.
