Specsavers moved quickly yesterday to capitalize on the monumental mix-up at the Oscars, in which "LaLaLand" was wrongly announced as Best Picture instead of "Moonlight."
This was classic material for its "Should've gone to Specsavers" tagline. So the brand's Australian marketing team took to Facebook post a blurry image of an envelope reading "Best Picture: Moonlight," together with the the caption, "You'd have to be living in la la land to get this wrong."
