Starbucks Russia (the company opened stores there in 2007) is out to give all independent coffee shops a kick where it hurts. Agency BBDO Moscow placed postcards that can be converted into a Starbucks sleeve in stores near coffee shops. They also handed them out as people left shops carrying their regular coffee. So people who can't afford its coffee feel a little bit better, but also feel a little bit worse. Because try as you might to impress your friends by convincing them it's a Caramel Macchiato, deep down, you know it's not. Via BestAdsonTV.
