Subway: Eggsical

The Egg, an all-day kind of fella.

Who says eggs are just for breakfast? Not Subway, which debuts this almost unbearably cute spot out of McKinney, starring our friend the egg, who wakes up with a new lease on life, realizing that his day doesn't necessarily have to end at dawn. The animated film is full of Broadway-style fun and was directed by Dan & Jason out of Hornet. It's the agency's first work for the brand to run--so we're wondering what happened to the commercial it created during The Pitch.

Update: according to a Subway spokesperson, the marketer was "very happy with the campaigns we saw during The Pitch," but "at this time, we are not going to be showing or utilizing any of those in conjunction with our breakfast activity."
