A Young Girl Finds the Most Ingenious Way to Ask for a Phone in Swisscom's Ad

Playful Spot by Heimat Is Charmingly Original

Editor's Pick

In a charmingly playful spot from Swiss mobile brand Swisscom, a tween girl finds the most ingenious and crafty way to ask for a phone -- and it's a totally original idea for an ad, too.

Created by Heimat Berlin and directed by Tomas Mankovsky, the film shows the girl tricking her entire family into thinking they have messages, texts and calls by faking the sounds using various household implements. They include a harmonica, and electric toothbrush, a garden fork and even the straw of her soft drink -- all deployed at the most inopportune moments. Eventually, Dad catches on, and she gets what she wants.
