Big Box retailer Target, known for its savvy design sense, is joining the likes of Jared Leto and Sarah Jessica Parker in helping to revive fanny wear with its latest in-store innovation, the Fanny Basket. Designed for those who tend to "cartwheel" when they "cart steer," it's a "hands-free alternative to traditional carts and baskets," Target announced today on its Bullseye blog.

Designed to make strolling through Target aisles a breeze -- even with your Venti Starbucks Frappuccino, phablet or Baby Bjorn-strapped little one in tow, the Fanny Basket is ergonomically sound and can be worn in a variety of ways--front-facing or even side saddle.

And yes, it's an April Fool's joke.
