Both take center stage in the online component of Target's "Red Hot Summer" campaign, courtesy of Atmosphere BBDO. Readers can flip through the pages of a virtual journal detailing the eight-week journey of a free-spirited musician seeking inspiration on the open road. In addition to daily scribbled narratives and interactive doodles, each page contains a new weekly challenge that can only be solved by using online tools like Google Maps and web videos—and each completed challenge unlocks a new summer tune that can be downloaded for free.
