The Skin-Like Pages of This Book Help Tattoo Artists Perfect Their Craft

It's a Sketchbook Like No Other

Tattoo Magazine wants to help ensure that skin artists get the right experience they need to create gorgeous work (perhaps like these, for example). But there's just one problem -- getting practice on the right sort of "canvas" can be a big problem.

While novice inkers have been known to practice on animals, fruits and even their friends, Tattoo Magazine, along with agency Lew/Lara TBWA created something much better, "The Skin Book," a limited edition sketchbook whose pages mimic the texture and feel of real human skin. The book's polymer pages even feature images of real body parts, to help make practice feel even more authentic.
