Tomorrow, some lucky shoppers in the U.K. will be treated to artwork of themselves decked out in Ted Baker attire at in-store events around the country. The campaign celebrates the launch of the fashion brand's Spring/Summer 2012 campaign "The Great Exhibitionist and his Private Views."
Shoppers will be invited to try on pieces from Baker's new collection and pop into an "Exhibitionist" photo booth, where their Instagram photos will be taken and sent off to one of 11 top fashion illustrators and artists at Ted Baker Headquarters in London. Talents including Niki Pilkington, Jacqueline Bissett, Michael Frith, Harry Malt and Matthew Green, will create one-off portraits of the 100 most inspiring customers dressed "from Ted to toe." Those drawn will receive digital copies of their portraits, and later, framed and signed hardcopies. All the portraits will be showcased on Ted Baker's Facebook page.
A film crew will also be at the headquarters to shoot the illustrators, who will be broadcast live at participating stores and on Ted's Facebook page. Some customers will even get a time-lapse film of their portraits being made.
