The Big Issue Vendors Improvise to 'The 12 Days of Christmas'

Touching Online Spot Tells How Selling the Magazine Has Helped Them

Sellers of The Big Issue, a magazine sold by homeless people in the U.K., put their own lyrics to "The 12 Days of Christmas" in this touching online awareness ad filmed on the streets of London. It's genuinely uplifting, down mostly to their clearly authentic attempts to sing and to think of ways in which selling The Big Issue has helped them -- whether it's helping them take their dog to the vet or recover from addiction.

Agency Fold7 created the film, which features cameos from John Bird, the founder of "The Big Issue," Stephen Robertson, chief executive of the foundation, and TV actor Christopher Timothy.
