The Guardian: Books Season

Serendipity lives.

Editor's Pick
The Guardian is kicking off its Fall marketing campaign with a nationwide book swap. About 15,000 books are being "set free" in public places around the country, from coffee shops to subway stations, so people can chance upon them. Enclosed inside the book is a sticker. Once you've read the book, you can rate it, put in your name, and put the sticker inside the book for the next person who happens by. You also upload a picture of where you found the book or put it on Twitter with #guardianbookswap.

The Book Swap is just the beginning of a six-week campaign from the publisher which will include contests and audiobook giveaways.
