The Guggenheim/YouTube: YouTube Play

The esteemed institution turns to YouTube for a Biennial of Creative Video.

The Guggenheim recently announced YouTube Play, partnership with the video site that invites filmmakers to submit their works for a "Biennial of Creative Video" to launch this fall at all the Guggenheim in New York, with simultaneous shows in Berlin, Bilbao and Venice. The 20 winners will be chosen by the museum's jury of experts.

One submission per person is allowed, no longer than ten minutes in length. The videos must be non-commercial, should not have been distributed publicly for two years prior to June 14, 2010 and should be accompanied by a written statement no more than 1,000 words. Other criteria can be viewed on the YouTube Play site. Deadline for entries is July 31, 2010.
