Dark Side of World Cup Obsession Seen in This Chilling Domestic Violence Spot

UK PSA is Based on Shocking Statistics

The World Cup isn't fun and games for everyone; a shocking statistic comes from the UK's National Centre for Domestic Vioence, which has found that domestic violence increases by 25 percent after an England game. This chilling PSA from the organization, created by JWT London, only hints at the situation, by showing a woman making tea and anxiously sitting in her kitchen, watching the door, as she listens to the last few minutes of an England game. While we don't see the actual violence, the spot certainly leaves us with a nasty taste in our mouths.
