These boots may be made for walking—but as it turns out, a pair of Timberlands can make a pretty good canvas, too. The purveyor of outdoor gear has launched 10061.com, a new website created by Arnold/Boston aimed at building an entire community of artistic-minded adventurers. In addition to letting aspiring artists, writers, directors and photographers upload their work into the user gallery or design their own boots on the DYOB page, the site spotlights the video diaries and sketches of five artists from New York City, each tasked with creating a signature Timberland boot that reflects their passion for their community as part of an ongoing showcase called "The Boroughs Project."
