Tiny Riot: Tiny Riot

An app to help kids in Japan decompress.

Published on Jul 05, 2011

Editor's Pick

Masashi Kawamura, co-founder of new Tokyo/New York agency Party, devised the Tiny Riot app with Kensuke Sembo, Tomohiko Hayashi, Taeji Sawai to help kids in Japan let out their frustrations. The app, which can be downloaded on iTunes, combines the iPhone accelerometer, microphone and camera and a morphing metal track to turn the iPhone into an aggressive and powerful musical instrument. The app records video of the "tiny riot" that ensues when it's used, uploadable to a dedicated site.
