TNT Post: Smallest Shortest Film

The shortest film - on a stamp

Published on

Editor's Pick

KesselsKramer and director Anton Corbijn have teamed to create a really, really short film to be viewed on a commemorative stamp.

On behalf of the Dutch postal service, TNT, the agency created the 1-second film-on-a-stamp, which nods to a classic Dutch stamp from 1951 depicting a girl and a windmill. Corbijn's updated version stars Dutch actress Carice van Houten.

The "film" uses lenticular printing, which enables the depiction of 30 frames of film (1 second) on a stamp.

The film was launched in conjunction with the 30th anniversary of the Dutch Film Festival in September.
