L.A./Europe-based software provider Total Immersion gives trading card brand Topps the augmented reality treatment by offering 3D live baseball cards.

The Total Immersion site for the Topps campaign will bring specifically coded cards to life by displaying 3D avatars and animations when you hold them in front of a webcam that's connected to TI's downloadable software. After you initialize the 3D live software, you can use various keys to play a game where you can catch, bat and score points with Topps player cards of pros like Alex Rodriguez and Evan Longoria.
