Toronto Humane Society: Dog Caller

It's getting hot in here.

Editor's Pick

Cars kill hundreds of dogs every year, even when they're parked. Working from this insight about dogs that die from heat exhaustion when they're left in locked cars in the summer, Rethink Toronto, for the Toronto Humane Society, invented this nifty little collar that alerts owners when the temperature gets too high.

The agency is currently working with designers and manufacturers and hopes to crowd-fund the product to make it available in pet stores next year.
