This commercial for Puppy Swap, apparently a subscription service that lets you swap one puppy for another, perfectly apes all those ads for brand-new lifestyle apps -- it features perky, whistle-y music, sunshine and happy-looking famlies getting what they want out of technology. Except, hold on. This is a service that basically lets you rent a dog, and abandon it once it grows up and gets less cute? Of course the ad, and site (where you can pick trending breeds and rate them) are fake -- they were created by the Toronto Humane Society to highlight abandonment of dogs. The agency was Toronto's Grip Limited.
