As part of Totinos’ Pizza Rolls campaign promoting its tie-in with the Winter X Games, Publicis Modem & Dialog East’s online initiative for the frozen food aisle staple features a microsite  following the cross-country travails of campaign spokesmen Den and Ken Buongiorno, two New Jersey brothers/action-sports athletes armed with pizza rolls and video cameras whose captured footage is being broadcast in a series of 18 webisodes that will lead up to the event’s January 24th start date.

The site not only features Den & Ken’s excellent adventures, but MP3 downloads of pop-punk bands like Bouncing Souls, video-sharing capabilities and mobile content, a video mash-up function, interactive polls to determine Den & Ken’s next escapade as well as a sweepstakes offer to win various prizes including a trip for four to the 2009 Winter X Games. Of course, one caveat of the whole affair is that much of the content is downloadable only by accessing codes found on the back of purchased Pizza Rolls boxes.
