Toyota: Tweet for a Sweet

Experiential and digital agency Mesh worked with DraftFCB Johannesburg on an interactive stunt for the Toyota Etius, which has just launched in South Africa. The agency took over an empty shop window, an using paper sculptures from artist Kelda Van Heerden and discarded pieces of plastic, toys and kitchen utensils, created a mechanism that delivered a sweet to anyone who tweeted with the hash tag #etiossmile (painted on the window outside) about what makes them smile. The stunt mirrors the theme of a TV spot by Draft for the introduction of the Etius in South Africa, in which jack-in-the-box style special effects pop up as the car does a test drive.
