It looks like Trulia is getting into the toy business. The real estate site recently placed a valuation on Playmobil's new toy mansion at $6 million -- that is, if it were life-sized and located in Malibu, California.
The new playset, which will go on sale on Amazon and specialty retailers for $109.99, features a Bauhaus design, a gourmet eat-in kitchen, modern bath, pool and deck and fitness room. Playmobil teamed with Trulia to scale up the toy to 5,676 square feet and see how much it would cost if the life-sized version were located in Malibu, the Hamptons or Miami.
In Malibu, the lux abode would cost $6,014,503, while in the Hamptons it would sell for $4,788,269. Meanwhile, Miami denizens could score the home for the bargain basement value of $1,627,313.
Trulia shared the home prices this week on its blog. This isn't the first time Playmobil's entered into an unconventional partnership. Earlier this year, it teamed up with the NHL on a branded toy collection.
