Tulipan: Customizable Condoms

What would your condom say?

Young people may have heard enough of "Wear a Condom," but the most effective protection against HIV -- and the source of revenue for condom-maker Tulipan -- is still a condom.

To generate some conversation about the prophylactic, Y&R New York launched a campaign where users could go online to type out a message that could then be printed onto real, FDA-approved condoms.

Messages -- which included "Vote for Pedro" and "I'm in a band" were also gathered online and shared on Facebook. Fans could vote for their favorites -- and 500 of the best ones were printed onto Tulipan condoms and given away.
