Twitter: New Profile Pages

They look a lot like another social network's pages.

Twitter profiles are getting a makeover -- and the new pages look suspiciously like Facebook's. Instead of a small avatar picture at the top, the profiles now have a big "header" image that runs across the page, similar to the cover photo on Facebook. However, the avatar picture is now in the middle (which makes for some fun Photoshopping, as Ryan Seacrest has clearly done here).

There's also a new iPad app, which has fullscreen photo viewing functionality and an easier-to-use photo navigation. Read more about the change over on AdAge.com.
