With the underlying axiom that "nothing is true, everything is permitted,"  Ubisoft's upcoming first-person role-playing release Assassin's Creed pits gamers in holy land of Jerusalem during the 12th century crusades, where they must suppress forces on both sides with the sharp blade of a sword while conspiracies unfold. 

Though the game won't hit shelves until November, design firm Diplomatic-Cover out of Lyon, France is giving enthusiasts a sneak preview of Assassin's Creed with a quick and bloody gaming experience that offers a view from the assassin's POV. Named Altair, the fearless, deadly knight comes off like a Jason Bourne of the Middle Ages.   

Upon entering the game, visitors first must sign an Oath of Commitment to an order of knights, then are quickly whisked away to an impressively rendered Jerusalem circa 1191 A.D. Using actual game footage, players can view Altair's every move through the town. Using the arrow keys, they are then directed to click on a certain direction within seconds to unlock over a dozen bonus goodies and several sections. Having played the game a few times, it is a formidable task to unlock everything, and in the end, we're just left with a message from the assassin stating "You Are No Match for Me."  Still, the interaction and visual presentation more than makes up for the loss.
