Ubisoft has gone all-out to promote the latest edition in its Tom Clancy Ghost Recon franchise with a 25-minute film directed by Academy Award winning directors Herve & Francois of Little Minx @ RSA Films (formerly of the directing collective H5). The live action film--replete with some pretty cool, but understated special effects, sets the stage of Ghost Recon Future Soldier, which drops on May 22. In the film, we follow the mission of elite U.S. Army team known as the "Ghosts" after they make their way behind enemy lines in an attempt to eliminate a notorious war criminal. Along with the directors, the project tapped an all-star team of production talents: the script was written by Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Tim Sexton (Children of Men) and Gregory Pruss, one of David Fincher's longtime writing collaborators. Director of photography was Trent Opaloch (District 9) and the editor was Pietro Scalia, who won Oscars for Black Hawk Down and JFK.
