In quite a departure from the dainty forearm-only TV demos we in the States are so familiar with, Unilever deodorant brand Rexona gets really funky in a Thai print campaign. Though Lowe/Bangkok AD Vancelee Teng says "it's quite a departure from the usual deodorant ads in Thailand, too, which tend to be just informative or fashionable. These ads have high recall among target consumers, and sales have gone up since the ads debuted a few weeks ago." Actually, this purse ad is rather fashionable, and another (see the PDF) is informative: we learn to never carry a bread in an armpit. But let's hope Rexona doesn't do toilet paper.
