Editor's Pick

On October 1, Uniqlo will be opening its first ever Japanese global flagship store in Shinsaibashi, Osaka and has recruited some famous natives from the region to herald the big event, including soccer pro Keisuke Honda, pop star Yumi Yoshimura, aka Puffy, punk musician/writer Kou Machida and singer/writer Mieko Kawakami. The talents appear on the flagship website discussing (in Japanese) how they reached their dreams despite facing opposition or adversity. Although the site doesn't feature the extreme digital bells and whistles as previous endeavors, it boasts the elegant and streamlined interface that has long characterized the brand.
