The University of Manchester debuted a promising new prototype that demonstrates real time facetracking on a mobile device. The prototype was developed using a Nokia N900 and tracks and locks 22 different facial features in real time. The development paves the way for future developments in the areas of automatic facial verification, augmented reality and even emotion-detecting robots.
