Austrian Magazine Prints 3000 Copies Using Ink From HIV-Positive Blood

Vangardist's Campaign Promotes HIV Event in Vienna

Last month, Creativity reported on a Brazilian NGO that created a poster containing a drop of HIV- positive blood to raise awareness of AIDS. It seems it hasn't been the only organization to use HIV= positive blood to make an impact; now we hear of a campaign by Austrian magazine Vangardist, which printed 3,000 copies in ink infused with HIV-positive blood, donated by three people living with the virus.

Saatchi & Saatchi Switzerland was responsible for the campaign, created to coincide with one of the biggest HIV events in the world, Life Ball, which takes place every year in Vangardist's home town of Vienna.
