Atlanta-based agency Moxie developed both a viral initiative and a site for Verizon Wireless that promotes its 6205 Dark Knight edition phone.

Along with wallpapers/screensavers, ringtones, a mobile game and an exclusive DC digital comic download for V Cast phones, the site features a viral video called "Commit Your Friend." The clip for "Commit", which was shot by director David Bruckner with a RED One camera, guides visitors through the dark, ominous halls of Gotham's Arkham Asylum. After you take a gander at the criminally insane, you can customize your own video and commit a friend by uploading an image of their face. The mugshot will then be incorporated into the original video and planted onto a writhing, straitjacket-clad Arkham inmate who appears in the final moments.

Moxie partner Limbo also produced an online/mobile competition for Verizon Wireless customers called "Fight for Gotham." Here, users can sign up, take a psychological evaluation to determine whether they're on the side of Batman or the Joker, then play the weekly updated game which runs through August 13th. Each week, players can collect selected prizes that are scattered throughout Gotham and themed to specific city blocks by using a "grab" button. The goal is to accumulate the most grab time by holding onto to each item, including an Xbox 360, a laptop and a home theater system, for as long as possible until a competitor swipes it. The person with the most time accumulated each week wins various prizes and will be placed in a team during the final week to fight for Gotham and earn the grand prize: a trip to Las Vegas or New York.
