Ultraliberal Canada strikes again! "When you're advertising a car, a nice big product shot might work just fine," notes art director Dave Federico at Toronto agency St. John, a shop that refuses to supply individual creative credits. "But when you're selling adult threesomes on a PPV service, and the ads are going to be appearing in a weekly publication, it's a whole other story." So "Shaved Beaver," "Pussy Licking" and "Big Sausage" are "illustrated analogies and a sneaky way to appeal to your target without offending those people who aren't interested," Federico explains. Surely it'll offend PETA, though?
