Today Virgin Media erected a billboard made entirely out of cheese in London's Covent Garden, part of a new campaign featuring the classic cartoon mouse Speedy Gonzalez as the face of "the fastest broadband in all the UK." The 110 kg billboard was made by food artist Prudence Staite and uses ten types of locally sourced cheese. It was created over eight days and 100 hours in a chilled studio by Staite and her 13-person team. The campaign also features a spot starring Gonzalez, to debut on Saturday, October 23 during X-Factor.
