Unless you're a credit card identity thief—or an opposing linebacker—you don't have anything to fear from Brandon Gorin, Tom Ashworth, Dan Koppen, Russ Hochstein and Matt Light, the New England Patriots offensive linemen who moonlight as metaphors for the Visa card's robust security features. And to prove just how helpful the athletic metaphors are, interactive agency AKQA tackled the online extension of the original TV spot that introduced them, creating the "Know the Metaphors" website. Visitors can click on the cartoony caricatures of each player to access an animated video that illustrates how the friendly footballers work tirelessly to thwart credit card criminals, ensuring that every cardholder is surrounded in a pocket of protection. Eat your heart out, Tom Brady.
