Kate Winslet Googles Herself in Quirky Vogue Film

Matthew Frost's Latest Stylish Video Captures the Actress in an Awkward Moment

Editor's Pick

Director Matthew Frost, who's known for bringing a wry smile and laugh to gorgeous fashion films, as on the self-effacing Une Fille Comme Les Autres for fashion mag Jalouse and this hilarious short for Viva Vena, starring Lizzy Caplan, delivers yet another quirky, beautiful film for Vogue, starring actress Kate Winslet. The video captures Ms. Winslet just as she's finishing up an interview, when a reporter asks her "Who's the best actress of all time?" She gives a diplomatic answer and then, when she's finally left alone, does a little more research.

According to Mr. Frost, Vogue had approached him to "develop a more scripted approach to some of their content. It's a fun way to show a high profile actress, that month's cover girl, poke fun of the whole promotion process and herself a bit too -- a small, simple moment that feels very off-the-cuff, funny and random too, hopefully."
