VW is encouraging consumers in China to learn more about its German heritage with an interactive website, created by Ogilvy Beijjng, for its Phaeton model. The site lets visitors enter the Transparent Factory in Dresden, Germany, where the Phaeton is made, making connections between the region's history and the the Phaeton's assembly process. Users can navigate their way through the site using the mouse, clicking on different objects (such as works of art and architecture) to read more about Dresden's cultural and design heritage.
