The app, a Chrome plug-in created by Almap BBDO, uses facial recognition technology to capture when the viewer is looking away pausing the video. When they look back at the screen, it resumes. Elsewhere in the world, the technology is being promoted by different marketing methods, including this video by Adam & Eve/DDB London, which features a father desperate to get his baby to sleep in the car.
