Why Robot Love Could Blossom When a Vacuum Joins the Household

Spot for Vorwerk's New Robot Vacuum Is Improbably, Touchingly Romantic

Published on

Editor's Pick

Vacuum cleaners and romance don't usually go together. But viewers are bound to fall for this charming robot love story, crafted to promote the launch of the Kobold VR200 robot vacuum cleaner by Swiss company Vorwerk and agency Saatchi & Saatchi Dusseldorf. In it, a toy robot falls for the latest member of the household, the robot vacuum cleaner, and an improbably touching, seemingly unrequited romance ensues, to the soundtrack of "This Guy's In Love With You." The spot was directed by Smuggler's Jamie Rafn and will air on TV and online starting in Germany.
