'Be the Batman,' Urges Gritty Trailer for Warner Brothers' Arkham Knight

The Cronenweths and Trent Reznor Help Make the Dark Ad

Editor's Pick

Battery and directing duo Tim and Jeff Cronenweth are behind this gritty trailer for Batman Arkham Knight, the final game in Warner Brothers' Arkham franchise. The spot looks at men from all walks of life -- an NBA player, a firefighter, a businessman and an ambiguously stylish young guy, who come face to face with challenging scenarios in Gotham. The ad encourages each to "Be the Batman" and be "selfless," "courageous" and "determined" in tackling various challenges -- whether it's a showdown on the court, a subway fist-fight or a building on fire. A dark, driving original score by Trent Reznor heightens the intensity.

The game drops on June 23.
