YouTube users are being encouraged to add messages about the need for clean water around the world to their own videos, with a tool developed by international water charity Waves 4 Water. The bookmarklet tool, developed by Brazilian agency Loducca in time for World Water Day on March 22nd, lets users add annotations (interactive layers that sit on top of videos), containing messages such as the fact that one in six people in the world still do not have access to clean water. It can be downloaded at the charity's website.
