Fred & Farid Paris, with Rankin directing, capture the frustrating nature of dieting with a very French spot for Weight Watchers France.

It's interesting to look at how subtle the message is in this spot -- and compare this to Weight Watchers (or similar) ads in the U.S., which spell out the message as clearly as possible. Here, the ad evokes the frustration associated with dieting and encourages you to try Weight Watchers instead. 'Treat yourself better,' because you deserve better. Music is a rework of the classic Bardot song, "Tu Veux, Ou Tu Veux Pas," and is refashioned from being the song of a woman frustrated with her lover, to a paean for the dissatisfaction of dieting.
