Whistler Film Festival: Princess

An unusual about-turn.

Editor's Pick

Dare Vancouver created some unusual short films to promote the Whistler Film Fesitval, which tends to showcase the uexpected. Three films each start off like predictable Hollywood fluff -- gangsters, goodbyes and fairy tales -- but take an unexpected turn.

The campaign also included an outdoor element, with stories hidden in rezoning signs, sale boards and fliers, with every day copy turning into an unexpectedly dark tale. Craigslist ads were also seeded: Items like a chainsaw were put up for sale, with the ad starting off with technical specs and then moving into a tale of how it was used to disposing a murdered body.
