Warning! This Gross-Out Anti-Gun Violence PSA Is Not for the Squeamish

Provocative Campaign is Aimed at Millennials

Editor's Pick

This PSA from Women Against Gun Violence surely owes a debt to Dumb Ways to Die; just like Metro Trains' award-winning campaign, it matches some gross-out animations to a catchy ditty to reinforce a memorable message.

That message (and the song title) is "Keep Your Finger off the Trigger," and it's illustrated, by director Johnnie Semerad of Quiet Man, with some darkly funny examples of how you can use -- and lose -- fingers. Singer/songwriter Stephen Krauss scored and performs the song.

The campaign, by Grey New York, is aimed at engaging millennials in debate about guns on college campuses in the wake of several campus shootings.
