The World Toilet Organization rechristened Black Friday as "Brown Friday" in a crowdfunding initiative to improve sanitation for school children in South Africa. Kicking off with a tongue-in-cheek online campaign, the camapign, by Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore, asks people to "Give a Shit" on "Brown Friday" and make a donation towards $30,000 needed to build a toilet facility in a school in KwaMashu, South Africa. People are asked to go to the campaign's Indiegogo page to donate. In return, they can see their name on the toilet building mural, plus get a t-shirt, a notebook, a tote bag, or a chance to cut the ribbon on the finished facility in South Africa.
