XBOX Fable III: Kingmaker

Claim virtual territory and earn gold with this new mobile game.

Editor's Pick

Although Fable III has yet to launch, its European fans can get a taste of the action in the real world, via Kingmaker, a new mobile game and rewards program out of of McCann London. The agency teamed with Fable creators Lionhead Studios, Grapple Mobile and Unit9 to launch the Fable III Kingmaker app, a mobile challenge that asks gamers to join one of two factions and capture territory on their own streets by using the GPS on their phones and tagging locations with a virtual flag.

By doing so, players can earn gold that can be redeemed on in-game products and player customization in the actual Fable III consolegame after it launches on October 29. The app is available for Android, iPhone, Symbian or Windows Phone 7 and can be downloaded via the Kingmaker site.
