Xerox gave attendees of the Rochester International Jazz Festival an augmented reality experience with an app specially created for its sponsorship of the event. the The JazzFinder app, developed by digital agency Motive and marketing agency Roberts Communications, centered on a series of posters placed throughout the city during the nine-day festival. Attendees could scan any poster with the app to access information, listen to sampling from featured artists and keep track of musicians' set times. Jazz fans could also create photos of themselves with an artist's augmented reality avatar, then share with friends on Facebook and Twitter.
